First, I love this book it's the best book ever, 5 out of 5. If you have to choose between this and sassy princess stories, go with this book you'll fall in love with this book, and anyone who doesn't like this book suck on a gymnast's dirty, sweaty socks.
And if your'e wondering what the cover means, it Stephenie Meyer stated that the apple on the cover represents the forbidden fruit from the book of Genesis. It symbolizes Bella and Edward's love, which is forbidden, similar to the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, as is implied by the quote from Genesis 2:17 that is quoted at the beginning of the book. It also represents Bella's knowledge of what good and evil are, and the choice of seeing Edward, or not seeing him.
The Film:

The film of Twilight is a great movie 4.5 out of 5 because it doesn't include things that were very interesting in the book that people wish that should've been in the movie. Kristen Stewart plays Bella Swan, and Robert Pattinson plays Edward Cullen. And it was a #1 Blockbuster. Me and my grandmother went to see it on the first day it came out. And I saw it again a day later.
Overall great story! So watch the movie and read the book!
